Intellectual Property & Content Protection Policy

All original materials created, developed, compiled, or published by the African Textile Alliance™ and the Institute of African Textile, LLC are protected. Protected materials include, without limitation: content, research, documentation, databases, classifications, frameworks, directories, verification systems, educational materials, publications, text, photography, graphics, designs, methodologies, digital collections, archives, and other proprietary materials.

Protected materials may not be copied, reproduced, republished, scraped, redistributed, adapted, imitated, commercially exploited, or incorporated into competing initiatives, databases, publications, educational programs, platforms, or derivative projects without prior written authorization from the Institute of African Textile, LLC.

The African Textile Alliance™, the African Textile Ecosystem™, the Institute of African Textile™, the African Textile Academy™, and all associated names, marks, verification marks, and identifiers remain the property of the Institute of African Textile, LLC. The ATA verification mark may be displayed only while a verification is active and listed in the official African Textile Alliance Verification Registry. If a verification expires, is suspended, or is revoked, authorization to display the corresponding mark ends immediately.

You retain ownership of the original work and materials you submit. By submitting materials you confirm that you hold the necessary rights to them, and you grant the Alliance permission to review them for the purpose of your application. Any further use, including publication or documentation, requires your separate written permission and will be attributed.
